Bahar is a student-led charity group at the University of Toronto aiming to help underprivileged communities in Iran, especially children in need. This group acts as a connecting bridge between the residents of North America and non-profit organizations in Iran by organizing sponsorship plans, fundraising campaigns, and awareness-raising events.

Please see our social media channels for the latest updates on our activities.

Since its establishment in August 2016 by a group of students at the University of Toronto, Bahar Charity has regularly organized events concerned with socio-economical problems such as child labour, poverty, and education deprivation. Volunteers in Bahar believe in helping the marginalized communities by supporting them through education, skill development, and social entrepreneurship. In this line, Bahar puts such activities at the center of its plans. Please refer to the events' page to learn more about past events and campaigns.

“Human beings are members of a whole
In creation of one essence and soul
If one member is afflicted with pain
Other members uneasy will remain
If you have no sympathy for human pain
The name of human you cannot retain”
